I'm a footwear designer, used to working only with 2D software on my Mac. Now I'm looking into 3D for designing outsoles. I'm trying to find out which package will suit me best.
I'm looking for an excessible, versatile package which is easy to work with, and applicable for mouldmakers and such. I'm hoping to integrate 3D scans of natural objects into my designs.
Since I have a mac, to which I'm quite attached, I'm considering Cheetah3D, but got no clue if it is really any good or if it meets my requirements. Then again it looks very accessible, which is a must, because I don't have the time to study and practice for months..
Any advice would be much appreciated!
